Abstract

We demonstrate the use of automatic drawing facilities in an interactive single-line diagram editor which is the user interface to a real-time power system simulator. As well as being used as a filter to generate ready-to-simulate schematics, the automatic drawing algorithm can cooperate with interactive editing actions to work towards obtaining a final drawing satisfying user constraints.
